News: Peter Hampton lashes out at Web Police Warning with false criminal accusations as IWP fails. You can read our detailed answers to Peter Hampton's criminal accusations HERE. Peter Hampton publishes a bogus public safety bulletin labeling us as criminals including a reply to a false report made to the UK Police. This is not the first time he has used this tactic against individuals who dare to speak out about his activities. See: Consumer.Net and FTC.Gov sites (halfway down page). We believe that he is now making false complaints about this site in a last ditch effort to salvage what is left of InterGOV as more and more of his so called staff disassociate themselves with these bogus organizations and abandon the sinking ship. Even the State of Florida are now questioning the false claims to official Police authority made by the International Web Police, see below. State of Florida serves International Web Police members in Florida with legal notices. Read the notices here. [1] - [2] - [3] - [4] - [5] - [6] These notices defer to impersonation of Police, displaying Police badges prominently on their site and innocent members of the public or naive young children being deceived into thinking that they are a real Police agency. Very interesting reading and also goes to show that the State of Florida also shares our concerns regarding Peter Hampton's pseudo official agencies. See International Web Police Legal Authority page for their claims to official Police powers. The text from this page is now shown locally as they have now removed the original page we linked to after several years of misleading the public. We urge anyone who thinks that it is disgusting that Verio.Com hosts these bogus official sites write an abuse complaint to: abuse@verio.com This surely does Verio's corporate image no favors whatsoever! The public should first be aware that these sites have no official capacity whatsoever despite the cavalier claims strewn over their many thousands of bloated and almost worthless web pages. This site attempts to put Peter Hampton's organisation into perspective and to debunk the many blatantly false claims made by WEB-POLICE.ORG, INTERGOV.ORG, SCAMWATCH.COM, INTERDAC.COM, ILETA.NET ICC-911.COM, WWW.IGSPECOPS.NET all of which have zero official capacity despite Peter Hampton's claims. We shall examine a lot of the falsehoods, propoganda and the misinformation spread by these sites. These sites appear to be little more than the fantasies of one Peter Hampton and his unquestioning flock of sheeplike followers who seemingly do his every bidding. These sites have been misinforming and misleading the public for many years into the belief that they are officially recognised by governments and legitimate law enforcement agencies worldwide, this however is not even anywhere near true as our hours of diligent research will attempt to demonstrate. Over the years their claims have been vast and varied and we will also be looking at their history and many of their prior false claims. Many people might question our motivation for a site such as this, but really the motivation is simple, we believe the public have a right to know the truth and exactly who and what they are dealing with. Would you want to report a crime or give out your personal information to strangers, convicted criminals, non qualified individuals or people who have not been background checked or properly screened? Of course you wouldn't! and this is precisely what we are attempting to warn the public about. Information submitted to these sites is also insecure and many supposed private documents are left in insecure directories on their web server where absolutely anybody can access them. We are sure many people do not want their personal information publishing on the Internet because of the incompetence of this organisation, especially if they are the victims of crimes or stalkers. We are certainly not alone in questioning the credibility and official status of these organisations and you will find that many other people have asked the exact same questions and met with the exact same evasion or even more Web Police hype and propoganda. Some of you may find this article about Web-Police.Org/InterGov.Org on Consumer.Net an interesting read. Another article of interest can be found at SpamCop.Net where an evasive e-mail from Peter Hampton is posted. This site contains a lot of valid information about these organisations and the individuals involved in the day to day operation of these organisations. It is our belief that the whole operation from start to finish is little more than an unsophisticated donation collecting scheme and a group of gullible individuals playing out Peter Hampton's Internet cop fantasies. We will let you reach your own conclusions! Peter Hampton seemingly aspires to be a media darling and seems to love any attention he can get from the press unless it is questions regarding his integrity or legitimacy as an official agency. Their pages are also littered with banners of supposed investors or donators including Microsoft, mIRC, Verio to add the appearance of official recognition and credibility, don't let yourself be fooled by these. You can see the supposed donators at their InterGov.Org site. Be aware that the supposed donators of larger sums are all members of Peter Hampton's family or members of the Web Police/InterGov organisations. Almost every page carries solicitations for donations or banners for commercial sites. You will not find any such solicitations for financial donations on this site. If you wish to assist us in our endeavours just spread the word as we are most certainly not looking to collect any money for what we believe is our public duty. Previous claims made by Peter Hampton on previous sites can be found in the wayback machine. This is a veritable goldmine of disinformation and false claims from Peter Hampton's sites, we are sure you will find it very interesting. WEB-POLICE.ORG INTERGOV.ORG SCAMWATCH.COM ICC-911.COM ILETA.NET INTERDAC.COM WWW.IGSPECOPS.NET Sometimes due to heavy traffic loads these links might take a while to load. Many ex members are now writing to us and offering to share their concerns about these organisations as well as giving us a better insight into their inner workings. We have received a large volume of information suggesting that things are not at all well at InterGov. Information we have received unveils many disgraceful activities and events which have occurred within InterGov. These are some of the things which InterGov do not want you to know about and exceptionally good reasons why the public should avoid them at all costs. Check out our new forums and join the discussion, whether it is positive or negative feedback concerning any of these agencies, we want to hear from you! Negative posts expressing concern or requesting these organisations to address valid issues are deleted on their own InterDac.Com Forum despite the claims that it is the place to discuss controversial issues or bash the Web Police. We warn you that negative posts are quickly deleted from there so we suggest you post them on here instead. One of our readers and contributors from the United Kingdom e-mailed a few relevant agencies in the United States and the United Kingdom enquiring as to the validity and authority of the International Web Police. Below are the responses he received to his initial enquiries. Surprisingly none of these organisations endorse the International Web Police or any of the myriad of sites which one Peter Hampton owns and maintains. Anyone with half a grain of common sense will quickly come to the conclusion that the claims on Peter Hampton's sites are completely unfounded and bogus. There was a very interesting thread raging in the PoliceWorld.Net forums concerning the International Web Police and InterGov organization currently being discussed with some valid and scathing criticism of the International Web Police which has now been closed. For those that want to view their ridiculous antics firsthand or ask questions relating to their official status or claims, we encourage you to visit their public chatroom and ask them directly. We do however wish you luck in getting straight or honest answers to any questions that you might ask. WEB POLICE PUBLIC CHATROOM. mIRC users can point their IRC clients to: /server irc.intergov.org 6667 which will join you to their #HELP_CENTER or click on this link to launch mIRC and automatically connect to the correct server and port. Alternatively you can sign up for their newsletter and receive solicitations for donations with dire warnings that if they don't receive money soon that they will be forced to withdraw their services in 30 - 45 days. Anybody considering a donation should be aware that despite their claims, they are not a legally registered not for profit org or legally registered as a charity. In fact it is our opinion that to claim to be not for profit while not legally registered constitutes fraud and obtaining money by false pretences. Attempts by us to subscribe to their free public newsletter are denied and rejected so we would also wish prospective subscribers good luck with confirming their subscription. It is also suggested that a disposable account is used for this purpose as there is no guarantee that email addresses collected are not sold on to marketing affiliates. You can attempt to subscribe here WEB POLICE MAILING LIST. You can expect to receive mail like this example even though they seem to regularly cry wolf about closing down due to lack of funds.
