The Doomed Kissimmee, Florida 6th Annual Child Safety Conference.

The 6th Annual Child Safety Conference held in Kissimmee, Florida was yet another typical Web Police disaster from start to finish. The previous 5 conferences were held at Peter Hampton's home in Indiana and were attended by a few of his staff members only. The 6th Annual Child Safety Conference was open to guests and guest speakers and was much publicized and pushed on their web sites. One would think with the 2 Million or so visitors they supposedly receive to their sites that more than 15 people would have been in attendance, 7 or 8 of which were Web Police staff. See HERE.

The Child Safety Conference was organized by one Aaron F****** at Peter Hampton's request and supposedly much planning went into it. Possible sponsors were contacted and offered stands at the conference for a donation of $250.

The documentation stated "no jeans, no t-shirts as important members of the press will be present", however Linda Carter arrived in a tight yellow tank top and short bright pink shorts. No further comments on that!

Redonna Leppla arrived in a t-shirt which had Web Police Security blazoned across it toting handcuffs and thumbcuffs and was supposedly the door security to prevent troublemakers from entering.

The one and only reporter in attendance, Lauren Johnson, a reporter from Central Florida News 13 who briefly attended the event and left without filing a report. Below is a response to an e-mail we sent asking her about the event.

"I don't know anything about that organization. I did go to cover an event they were having, but I ended up not doing a story per my manager's request. Sorry that I can't be of any further assistance about the group. That's all I can help you with, unfortunately. I can't really confirm or deny any details about the group...I wasn't there long enough to learn much of anything about them.

Lauren"

In attendance at the conference were representatives from Childwatch of North America and Code Amber.

Here is reply from Jeff Griesemer from Childwatch of North America.

"From Childwatch of North America

My first contact with the International Web Police was when they contacted
me in January inviting me to speak at their 6th Annual Child Safety
Conference. I did speak at the conference March 6th.

I do not now how the previous conferences were received, but this one was
not very impressive. About 15 in attendance and about 7 of those were
associated with the Web Police. I did, however, get the feeling that they
were genuinely trying to do some good and make a difference. I was
unfamiliar with the organization prior to this conference, so I can't really
attest to their ultimate goals and credibility. My overall impression was
positive.

I hope this answers some of your questions. Was there an issue that
troubles you?

Regards,
Jeff Griesemer
National Director

HERE you can find the Web Police version of the Child Safety Conference which mentions the unfortunate incident which we will cover in a little more detail further down the page after first commenting on their own article.

"This conference failed to accomplish its goal and served no useful purpose but to again show the complete lack of concern for the safety of children."

It is not hard to see why it was a miserable failure given that the International Web Police have very little credibility in the first place. Someone should maybe inform Mr. Hampton that credibility is something which is earned from actions and not a given right just because they liberally use the word Police all over their misleading web pages.

Very few speakers or guests showed up and those that did contributed little to the improvement of child safety.

This sounds like he is trying to infer that neither Childwatch of North America or Code Amber had anything to offer as far as child safety was concerned, maybe because Peter Hampton is the expert on such matters? Both Childwatch of North America and Code Amber are officially recognized as legitimate organizations who do actually provide a very useful and professional service to the community. Both organizations have plenty of credibilty, do I detect the green eyed monster of jealousy in Peter Hampton's tone in the rest of his writings?

"Needless to say, it was a disappointment to all those who attended."

All 15 of them? of which 7 or 8 of them were Web Police members.

"The only thing that was learned was we should have "screened" our speakers more thoroughly!"

Agreed, but shouldn't he have done this before the conference instead of afterwards? I thought he had 1000's of Web Police officers and real Law Enforcement Officers at his disposal for performing a simple task such as screening. Afterall, they claim to investigate terrorists and high tech criminals, surely a simple verification check would not be that hard with all the resources his sites boast of.

"Of the speakers, 5 were representatives of the Cheney-Bush campaign committee. Their credentials were verified prior to allowing them to speak, HOWEVER! it was later learned that their credentials were falsified. They had no interest in child safety and were not part of President Bushes campaign."

Hmm their credentials were verified prior to allowing them to speak yet their credentials were falsified? How can anyone verify falsified credentials? This sounds like complete contradiction to me! I doubt very much whether Peter Hampton had much interest in child safety either considering some of the shocking activities on his supposedly child safe chat servers which involved children and his in my opinion, exploitation of children to staff his organizations and investigate crimes. If this isn't endangering children, then I don't know what is!

"They were quickly recognized as phonies and asked to leave the conference."

They were? I wonder if this was after they gave a 20 minute or more speech with a shocking demonstration of the fake Bush, Cheney campaign committee pretending to drown a baby in a bucket of water and pretending to suffocate a baby in a plastic bag while Peter Hampton sat there and watched and did absolutely nothing whatsoever to stop it!

Mr. Hampton makes no mention of the event which sounds like some form of political or student prank where they see how much they can horrify people and get away with before being ejected. I can honestly say that they certainly picked the right candidate to play such a prank on. My only surprise is that Peter Hampton hasn't added that to his list of false accusations against us as well.

"This unfortunate incident not only destroyed the enthusiasm of those in attendance, it actually turned many of the attendees against the Web Police efforts to protect children."

Let's do the math here, 15 attended, 7 were Web Police, maybe even 8, 5 were fake Bush, Cheney campaign committee members, one reporter, a representative from Childwatch of North America and a representative of Code Amber which makes a total of 15 or 16 people in attendance of which only 3 Were not either Web Police or pranksters. The pranksters must also have known that the Web Police have no legal authoriy or powers too. So these many attendees must add up to approximately 2 people if we discount Lauren Johnson, the reporter from the equation.

"Our efforts to apologize for this unfortunate incident were ignored!"

So now Mr. Hampton bashes Code Amber and seems to believe that he should have the official recognition based on his claim that he has been protecting children for 18 years when in fact his first web site registration was not until 1997 which is some 7 years ago.

"As Linda Spagnoli of the code amber alert web site said "

Regarding our phone conversation prior to the Kissimmee conference....

Unfortunately, there was an incident at the conference that will prevent our organizations from working together at this time. Mr. Hampton can provide you with details. We wish you well in your endeavors.

Code Amber seemingly had a lucky escape, maybe even more lucky than they might ever have first dared to imagine.

It appears that many other people were invited to the conference including a Sheriff and other important members of the community. None of these people showed up after probably doing a little homework or investigative research of their own and finding that Mr. Hampton and his organizations have very little credibility and no absolutely no official status.

"It is hard to believe that Code Amber, who claims to be concerned with the welfare of children, would refuse to work with any organization whose goals were the safety of children!"

Somehow I doubt Code Amber would in any way wish to be associated with any of the Web Police antics, let alone the shocking activities which have occurred in his supposedly child safe chat rooms. Code Amber would risk losing the credibility and associations they have worked hard for if they became involved or associated with any of the reprehensibe activities of the International Web Police. In many people's eyes they would be guilty by association and I fully believe that they did the wisest thing possible under the circumstances.

"The Web Police were protecting children 10 years before code amber was even an idea of Linda's.."

So he keeps claiming!, without ever offering a shred of evidence to support his claims. I imagine anyone who has ever visited this site has long since figured out that Elvis stands more chance of being found alive and well on the Moon, living with a group of vegetarian Martians.

"Could Code Ambers purpose be purely for financial gain and have nothing to do with the actual safety of your children? Linda is paid well for her work with code amber, but no one at Web Police has ever received a dime for their efforts to serve the people on the Internet community. They have worked hard for 18 years for free for no other reason but to protect YOU!"

I very much doubt it as Code Amber are able to provide solid proof that they have *really helped people* whereas Mr. Hampton has still yet to provide any proof of hardly any of the things he claims. As the article mentions money in the next paragraph, then it might be fair to assume that Mr. Hampton's motive might be money, afterall Mr. Hampton is officially bankrupt and constantly trying to squeeze the public for more funds or face the threat of losing his services forever once he can no longer afford to sustain them.

"Even the costs of developing and presenting the Child Safety Conference were paid entirely by Mr. Hampton, code amber contributed nothing!"

Why does he always write about himself in the third person? Ah I see he why now, he is writing about himself while pretending to be Ed Fulke again. From what I understand, various businesses were charged money to stand at his prestigious event and not one of them received a refund! Maybe Peter Hampton means that he paid the costs with other people's money? More on this later!

Below are the conference details they published on their main page: HERE

Child Safety Conference.

Child Safety on the Internet has become an International issue of critical importance. While other issues such as Spam, hacking and fraud have become the focus of attention by both Government and Media officials, issues involving Child Safety (abuse, harassment, stalking, pornography, child predators, etc.) have become secondary.

The staff and officers of the International Web Police believe the safety and welfare of our children is the highest priority. To insure that every effort is made to address any issue that may affect a Childs safe use of the Internet, the Web Police will be conducting an open public conference that will address "Child Safety on the Internet".

Many key speakers and experts in the field of child safety will be in attendance to help resolve issues facing every parent and Internet user. Several large companies have contacted us with interest in setting up specialized seminars and/or booths offering child safety information and products. A full curriculum covering a variety of subjects will be presented for open discussion.

Much has been learned in the 17 years that the Web Police has actively been addressing child safety and Internet related criminal activities. In order to share this vital information, instructional classes and materials will be provided to assist law enforcement agencies and other organizations with their efforts in addressing Internet related criminal activities.

A team of our officers has been working for months in organizing this event to insure it is the best conference ever held. It is tentatively scheduled to be held in Kissimmee, Florida U.S. (near Walt Disney World), and will be held Saturday March 6, 2004.

Please consider attending this exciting event. Due to the large number of attendees, pre-registration is required for guaranteed seating. Sponsors and advertisers who wish to participate are welcome. You will be kept fully informed as the plans are finalized and details become available.

In typical Web Police fashion the event was hyped like it was a major event with lots of important people attending and very limited seating. All 15 people must have had to literally fight for a seat. One can only imagine how embarrassed Mr. Hampton must have been that hardly anybody showed up. Mr. Hampton appears to believe that it was apathy towards child safety issues that accounted for low attendances but has probably never considered that it might actually boil down to the fact that he has very little credibility. Has anyone ever seen any of the evidence to support any of the claims which Peter Hampton makes concerning the protection of children? Just how does he supposedly protect children on the Internet? His mission statement has never been clear on this.

Supposedly Mr. Hampton personally protects 500 Million Internet users and covers every cent of the costs from his own pocket. According to his daughter Barbara, Mr. Hampton lives on Social Security checks and we happen to know for a fact that he had filed for voluntary bankruptcy shortly before moving to Florida. More on that HERE. If he pays the costs out of his own pocket as he states in his InterDAC article while pretending to be a character named Ed Fulke then why would he be asking for $250 donations for booths? Incidentally, none of the people who donated money for these booths ever saw a cent of their money back even though it is my belief that they were completely deceived into thinking this was a major conference with lots of important people in attendance.

Mr. Hampton claims to have been giving away $5,000 worth of Microsoft products which he received as a donation from Microsoft yet on his InterDAC he can be seen biting the very hand that feeds him. HERE

"How many children have been kidnapped, molested, raped and killed as a result of using Microsoft software?
How many businesses have been forced to close due to fraud committed with Microsoft software?
How much of your private information has been illegally obtained and used by using Microsoft software?
How many computers have been hacked and private information stolen using Microsoft software?
How many terrorists are using Microsoft software to make plans for the killing of thousands of innocent people?
How many innocent women and children have suffered extreme fright or severe personal injury as a direct result of using Microsoft software?"

Again this article was supposedly written by Ed Fulke who is actually Peter Hampton. I'm sure Microsoft might not have been quite so generous if Peter Hampton had written the above article before soliciting Microsoft for a donation. He fails to ask, how many people have been endangered due to the incompetent use of software by the Web Police? He voices these dire concerns about users of Microsoft software being a threat to the Internet population and further endangers them at his child safety conference by giving it away? Is this man a complete hypocrite or what? He seemingly doesn't see why he has very little credibility.

Mr. Hampton frequently claims this site is full of lies and innuendos and is a hate site yet writes articles like the above on his InterDAC site, slams Code Amber, slams Walt Disney, slams the FBI, slams Ebay, slams Yahoo, slams the United Nations and anybody else that doesn't endorse or sponsor him. He even slams the Kissimmee Police Sheriff on this page and then has the nerve to call this a hate site? I wonder if he is going to write about his own sites HERE?
